“You’re not the only one!”
Knowing she had only moments for them to somehow escape from the ones pursuing her Zelda grasped the strangers forearm and tugged on them to signal that they needed to run. She hadn’t expected to happen upon a group of bandits or a lone lost person on her outing, finding said lost person while fleeing from the bandits was not exactly a desired turn of events in the slightest. What was worse was the fact her bow had gotten lost amidst the chaos, leaving her with only a handful of arrows and raggedy tome she had found along the way.
“Here!” Stumbling as she abruptly darted to the side and pulled more on the stranger the pair twisted around a corner and near crashed into the wall. Zelda breathed out deeply, her heart racing and mind spinning. She wasn’t accustomed to being on her own when danger struck, she needed to stay focused and strategize on how she was going to get out of this situation alive- the severity of these circumstances were beginning to make her feel rather light headed.
“Okay look,” Zelda turned her attention to the person she had dragged along with her, chest rapidly rising and falling as she attempted to regulate her breathing after the intense running she had done. “So there’s these bandits, I only have a few arrows with no bow, and I’m pretty bad at using tomes but I’ve got one with me. If you’ve got any sort of weapon on you we can either try to fight these dastards; we can ignore them and flee or create a distraction and then run for our lives- your call.”
