Got to thinking about a Watermech AU where they move in together, perhaps after Herm's grandmother passes away. Following that concept I thought it'd be cute if he had a little side-kick pet like Robert has Beef. Asked my friend for a witty name and Stew(art) was born.
Together they are Beefstew and they are extremely silly and cute.
As for Stew's breed, I did some brief googling and read about how some maine coon kitties are pretty cool with water and swimming, the idea being that Stew is one of, if not the only cat Herm's grandma had that was okay with being pet/held/cuddled. I just wanted to share these guys to motivate myself into drawing and posting more. I hope other folks can enjoy them as well! :)
