Background:
Born the daughter of a French scientist whose classified research is widely believed to be the source of her unique abilities, Aditi was relocated from Marseille to Los Angeles for SDN evaluation and recruitment. Showing remarkable aptitude, she was assigned to a top-tier SDN Strike Unit, where she specialized in stealth insertion and extraction operations. Her precision and calm under pressure earned her consistently high mission success rates, particularly in low-visibility and high-risk scenarios. During a Red Ring operation, compromised by faulty intelligence and internal betrayal, she still managed to find their target. Determining that continued engagement would result in total loss, she prioritized their extraction and executed an emergency withdrawal out of fear. The rest of the unit and the target ended up not surviving. She sustained permanent respiratory damage during exfiltration, resulting in long-term dependence on a respirator. Officially, her actions were classified as abandonment of duty, and she was dishonorably discharged, barred from standard SDN deployment. For the next two years, she lived in Los Angeles under medical restriction, working as an substitute elementary school teacher. During this time, she maintained a low profile while recovering physically and psychologically. She later approached Blonde Blazer on her own to request conditional redeployment. She was approved to mentor Phoenix Program members under an auxiliary part-time contract, despite her expressed doubts about working alongside reformed villains. Her motivation is clear: to make amends and contribute where her unique skills can have meaningful impact and take revenge on those who killed her former unit.
