ROCKSTAR!TED: ... kiddo, I appreciate what you’re doing, but... you don’t want to be my friend. Nobody does. We’re from two different worlds, it.. won’t work.

ROCKSTAR!TED: Can’t you just go back to your family? Your friends? You don’t need to be here with me.

TED: As much as I’d like to, there’s no room to take a moral stand here. Let’s think about this.

TED: Let’s say that you’re right. All of the things I do are very wrong and bad and I stop doing it. What do I get out of it?

TED: I get to live a life of guilt from what I’ve already done, and I’ll exist miserable because of what everyone else will continue to do.

TED: I will get stepped on, slaughtered, and probably tortured. By my friends, my family, and by complete strangers. You think I hurt people just for a sake of it? I’m a mild case of that.

TED: I’m not gonna put myself through hell for morals the rest of the world has abandoned. I’d rather be a safe murderer than a morally sound doormat. Maybe that makes me “not normal”.

TED: ... I don’t care.

TED: Sorry- I- sorry.

TED: I don’t- I don’t deserve your kindness. I get you’re trying to be nice, and that’s good of you. Really. But I am a bad person- I know I am. I try so hard to rationalize it and not think about it... but it’s true.

TED: Even if I’m somehow not a bad person, I still hate myself all the same. How could I not?

TED: I... I shouldn’t be complaining so much. None of it really matters. Who cares if I’m miserable? I’m rich and immortal. What else could anyone possibly want? I have everything and yet I have the nerve to cry. It’s pathetic.

TED: ... I’m probably not making sense. I’ve never... talked about this to anyone before. I can’t... articulate it. I don’t know. You wouldn’t understand how I feel...

TED: I- just- don’t wanna do this anymore- I-
