TED: Well... there’s research going on, but... for the most part... none of us know any real reason why we can’t die.

RON: Yeah... I don’t even know what might be more powerful than death. ...You say you’re death in your universe?

TED: ... I wish you could come to our universe and help us.

TED: Uhh, Ron?

TED: Is there any particular reason you’re in my house? I don’t remember inviting you in. Not that I’m complaining.

RON: Oh! Yeah, sorry. I just wanted to test myself. And everyone knows that the Huxley estate is one of the most secure buildings in town!

TED: Ah. Well, I suppose that’s fair. Just don’t let anyone else see you.

RON: Right. Whatcha got there?

TED: Oh, this? I just found it with the mail. It’s some sort of Gala in a void between dimensions. Apparently, lots of other universes are invited.

RON: A... Gala? Like a fancy party where you ask people out to go?

TED: Well, yeah, but-

RON: -TED DO YOU WANT TO GO WITH ME??? LIKE AS A ROMANTIC DATE KIND OF THING???

TED: ...

RON: ...

TED: ... you want to go with me? Romantically?

RON: Y...Yeah.

TED: Ron, of course I’ll go. I... I’m really happy you asked, actually. I really like you.

RON: You do??

TED: Yeah! You’re cute and funny and sweet!

TED: More importantly, now you have no excuse for not getting formal clothes!

RON: Haha... is it too late to back out?

What’s everyone’s ‘thing’ Ron?

RON: Well... Lily and Billy usually do their ‘business’ silently. Those weird hitman wires, silenced pistols, that sort of thing.

RON: Nugget and Buggs use what some might call ‘brute force’. Lots of blunt force trauma, lots of fistfights...

RON: Ted uses a lot of blades. Swords, knives, axes, you name it. On the other hand, Felix uses mostly guns. They both work together to use long range and short range attacks.

RON: Monty has these really scary saws and robot arms and stuff on his wheelchair, and that’s pretty much all he uses other than new inventions. Penny has these awesome gauntlets with blades that shoot out!

RON: Carla uses pretty much exclusively explosives, and Jerome is the most accurate sniper I’ve ever known. They both tend to keep their distance when taking people out.

RON: Cindy uses poison, she doesn’t really get into actual fights. Alice causes... ‘accidents.’ If you catch my drift.

RON: -And as I said before, Madison and Ozzy mostly cause fires. As for me...

RON: I set traps where you least expect it. Mostly in whoever’s house. That, of course, also means I’m pretty damn good at breaking and entering.

CINDY: You know, if you two would like, I could always give you makeovers. I’m sure a new hairstyle and a little concealer would make you both look stunning.

CINDY: Maybe you could show off those lovely eyes of yours. I see no reason to hide them.
