today we learned about green screens and the like.

Madame Adiane was a masterful thief, but one day she was turned into a gorgon- snakes in her hair and all. She seems to have no effect on those who look upon her (e.g. they won't turn to stone) but unfortunately, the snakes she's not bound to aren't co-operative with her. She even carries around anti-venom for if (or rather, when) they bite her.

Adiane's rig has been problematic to say the least- I spend about two hours trying to get them right and I'ms till far from happy with it. As for her design, she is an ironic exaggeration of the "femme fatale" villain archetype, but with a pretty comical "excuse" for a practical reason why she needs to dress the way she does. In short, the snakes in her hair had a type of villain they wanted to be, and they have a set of fangs to help convince her. It all works out in the end, though- and I can't wait to see her and the rest of the villains come to life.

One of my favourite characters in terms of personality has got to be Dr. Francesca Fusion.

She has vast knowledge of chemistry and biology, and has used her knowledge to combine several creatures to make monsters. She also has access to dangerously acidic chemicals and can use them as a weapon by herself. She finds herself questioning her fellow villains (and her own boss's) decision making, and is always the first one to call somebody out.

Francesca has the most accessories I've added to a character so far, with her belt (where she keeps her concoctions for quick access) her gas mask, her vials, her sandals (to go with her socks of course) and her glasses.

She has a really dry sense of humour, too. Something I hope the viewers will like.
