Dissection Room
Yesterday I had what is hopefully my last ever session in the dissection room. We were looking at limb prosections to revise anatomy before starting clinical lectures for the ortho and rheum block.
Only reason to go back is if I have to resit the year.
Just think... I might never have to wash the scent of formaldehyde out my hair again. Never try and figure out if that stringy thing is an artery or a nerve. Never try to figure out where the hell a muscle is, only to discover that it isn't there any more.
Hallelujah.
Dissection is a really good way of learning anatomy, and don't get me wrong I'm grateful to have had the opportunity in pre clinical. But I'm SO GLAD to have that bit behind me.
