He'd seen the missing posters around town, easily found the address and stopped at the front door. Finding a cat would be easy enough assuming it didnt manage to get too far away. He hummed and knocked three times at the door, a small cool smile on his face.--(DissentAuthority)

nagito hasn’t been expecting any guests— who would come to visit him, after all— but it occurred to him that the missing players had listed his address, and he couldn’t ignore the possibility that some stranger had stumbled upon cricket and come by to drop him off. so he quickly rushed open to the door with a polite smile on his face, pulling it open.

and freezing.

this was the right address right? he hummed softly, odd, he could've sworn this side of town was called something else--oh well, he rapped sharply on the door, a calm cool smile settled on his features. he looked up, smiling and giving the camera a small wave. With cases like these, camera footage could be a little less than reliable. he hummed again, checking his watch 7:30, the victim should be home according to the schedule correct?--(@dissentauthority)

Hibiki startles at the knock on the door, letting out a shaky sigh, biting his lip, and trying to calm himself. It felt ridiculous to be this jumpy all the time, but the idea of someone knocking on that door that he didn’t recognize or didn’t expect made him sick to his stomach. Shakily, he pushes himself to his feet and slowly walks toward the door, peaking through the peephole. In his experience, his stalker didn’t knock. But also in his experience, his stalker was much shorter than the stranger that stood on the other side of the door. His brows furrow. He doesn’t recognize him in the slightest. He clears his throat. “Not accepting visitors and we don’t need to buy anything, sorry.” Still, he doesn’t step away from the door, paying careful attention to the stranger’s actions, finding himself holding his breath as he waited for him to leave.

The phone rings once, twice, before a nurse picks it up. "Hibiki Shiryo? Can I speak with him?" Comes over the other line, an almost relieved sounding tone. It had taken more than a few tries to get a hold of them (DissentAuthority)

The nurse mutters something before pressing the receiver to her chest and calling out for Hibiki. There’s a short, muffled conversation, before the call is put on hold. A moment later, the call is transferred to another receiver and a low, tired sounding male voice chimes in from the other end, crackling through the shitty, beaten up mic. “Hey, Hibiki here. What’s up?”

A sharp knock at the door resounds through the apartment. Haru is standing on the other side with a smile on his face, he'd called about the postal worker, obviously they had someone who matches the description he was given. He has no real leads right now but it couldnt hurt to check in on him--(DissentAuthority)

Hibiki staggers to the door, not so much as bothering to look through the peephole before flicking the lock and fumbling with the door handle, hands covered in bandages and tucked away spots of dried blood. His expression is tired, eyes glazed and bloodshot, and overall appearance simply... dull. Lifeless. It take a few slow blinks for him to register Haru as himself, a small smile crossing his face as he does. “Well hey, hot stuff. Just couldn’t stay away, huh?”
