Ik that post about you being okay with minors talking to u was made with good intentions but u should delete it. There’s no reason to be encouraging minors to talk to you. All you have to do is NOT put MDNI. It’s really weird to make a whole post about it from an outside perspective.

how about don't tell me what to do with my blog?? I'm not encouraging it. I don't even like talking to people in general???

it was made because we see a lot of controversy about older and younger folks interacting, and people who turn 18 and are suddenly like ''omg no minors can ever interact with me again''.

ill always intend to be a completely sfw blog, and I'd like everyone to feel safe here.

and out of personal experience, we find ourselves more comfortable around folks who see others as family in a way. in the sense of, we would be comfortable with our blog if we were younger. hence why the post was made.

some people are uncomfortable with younger audiences interacting because of whatever personal reason, and I wanted to be clear that we won't ever be one of those blogs.

and honestly? we just like feeling paternal. being an older sibling figure or paternal figure is oddly comforting, especially since we don't have very good relationships with our actual bodily siblings.

the intent was not to come off as creepy but to remind that this blog is made for a general audience.

tl;dr — it's not weird to say yer okay with all ages interacting (withing ToS ofc). I'm not taking down the post. I just see younger folks in a familial light. plus a lot of ppl that mean a lot to us are like little siblings to us. /pos/platonic

idk what exactly it is about them that I don't like but I will happily go out of my way to wash a preferred size/type of utensil if there aren't any clean ones
