Hotaka looked around. He was starting his new job soon and he wanted to explore a bit, in hopes of being able to get himself familiarized with the area. Hopefully he would be given some slack since he was new to the area, but he wasn't about to count on it. And he didn't want to risk losing this job either. He was able to get enough to find a small apartment after years of being on the streets. It felt nice.
He wasn't taught manners or anything about hygiene. But after observing people and noticing the differences between them and himself, he was able to get the general idea of proper appearances. And by buying a home for himself, it was small but still a home and not too bad, he was able to take another step to being sort of like the other people.
However, in order for him to continue like this, he would keep needing money. So a job would be something needed, which was why he is trying hard to not mess up this chance. It didn't seem too hard. He watched as one of the people went around, doing the same thing he was supposed to do. It seemed easy enough. Though what all the numbers and letters meant, Hotaka would have to figure out before tomorrow...
It seemed like some sort of like a matching game. You find the building that had the same writing as what was on the paper. Then leave it there. Though how all the people did all that so fast, Hotaka still couldn't tell...Though, there must be something. Hotaka climbed down from the small building he was perched on to try to have a closer look. However, as he was looking at each number to the next, Hotaka didn't pay attention and accidently bumped into someone. "Ahh...sorry." He looked over and bowed, something he noticed people do when they say 'sorry'.
