She had been travelling for quite a while, roaming from forest to forest and town to town. And although She enjoyed travelling quite a bit Mel couldn't help but enjoy the little village she had found herself into. The rooms at the local inn were clean and reasonably priced, and the food was edible. The little shops surrounding the central square had what she needed and she could perform small healing spells to earn a bit of spare money.
As she was taking her usual route to the local temple she heard commotion coming from one of the side roads. What she could make out, a fight had broken out as a local merchant and a traveller had gotten into an argument. Steeling herself for chaos, she walked into the middle of the crowd with as much authority as she could, Slamming her staff to the ground and booming with all the might of a wild beast. "CEASE YOUR ACTIONS, BOTH OF YOU!" startling some of the spectators and causing a halt in the wrestling match on the ground. Breathing deeply, she then proceeded to ask the merchant in a calmer manner "Explain what on earth is going on, attacking a weary traveller like that." turning to the traveller she remarked "And you, do not try to slink off anywhere till this is resolved, lest you want me to hunt you down."

It had been a surprisingly calm and pleasant day in Celestic. Perchance the dragons had shifted to a farther away location, or maybe they too were enjoying the balmy weather somewhere. Mel didn't really care, she was far too busy looking for Lilliput. It's amazing how well a roselia can hide when it doesn't want to be found, she thought hopping onto a park bench that was hovering a bit off the ground.
As she was running through the places she had already checked, and the places she should still go to, a peculiar sight caught her eye.
It seemed to be a book, floating so that if she just stood on the bench and reached she could reach it. Intrigued she tried to do so but slipped and fell on her face. The book, being disturbed by her fingertips, landed squarely on her head and sliding off to the ground next to her.
After the initial dizziness had calmed, Mel picked up the book and examined it. Made to look leather bound with metal corners, it was named "Dungeons and Dragonites: The official player rulebook".
Shuffling through the pages, there were many different people and jobs written within, with even more numbers and "Epic quests" and something about rolls? She didn't really understand none of it, but figured that it must be a game and would be something that the grumpy person, (was that Mark, Mathew, Mike? she really couldn't remember) from this time would know about.
And with that she set off to find him and return the book, or at least ask if he knew of it's rightful owner.
"Listen, do you really think anyone would have the time, let alone be interested in playing board games at a time like this?" Grump (Confirmed to be Mark) groaned. "Besides, just you wouldn't be nearly enough, first monster comes on by and you're dead. You would need at least 4 people. Now please move on to doing what ever you can do to help the town." He remarked obviously annoyed by her presence, ushering her out the door.
At least 4 people you say? She thought and a smile crept on her lips. "This is EXACTLY the time people need something to lift their spirits." With a newfound bounce in her step and her worry of lilliput subdued for now she jogged home. And by nightfall there was a small Notice on the notice board. Urging interested people to seek her out so they could persuade Mark to join in on the fun.))
