I love my soulmate.
Holding my boyfriend while he's asleep on my chest > any other possible feeling.
I love my brother.
Look at him. He's god damn adorable.
The prevalence of horse memes over the years hasn't garnered as much attention as it should have. There are meme superiors: the cat meme, for instance. A cat can stick any pose it wishes to make based on its furry biology, while a slightly technologically advanced human can snap a picture and slap some text on it with severe unnecessary capitalization syndrome (also known as SUCS, commonly referred to as "succs," an ironic callback to the original "succ" meme, which is entirely lowercased). The horse meme, however, is a cultural anomaly yet it is always present within social circles, lingering like a wronged poltergeist bent on revenge. This significance is a force to be reckoned with, and a biting criticism of society.
The commonly known horse memes are made by those with direct access to horses: horseback riders and farmers, though not every farmer wishes to live with an Internet connection, and some horseback riders tend to be elusive beings, like a lone wolf in the western outskirts of the countryside. They stand on the ledge of a small cliff and survey the vast expanse of land stretching away from them. They take a deep, longing breath and step away, their back hitting the back of a shelf hovering above them. Ah. Of course. They had been spending the last five hours trying to restart their stubborn router, which only helplessly beeps in response to their newfound revelation. If only horses can help them fix the technological problems that constantly plague them. That being said, some farmers and horseback riders are expected to be excluded from the example.
“When non-horse people help out at the barn.” “Make this your year to bring home a mustang.” “Haters gonna hate, horses gonna horse.” These are all popular captions of horse memes that seem to mimic the structure of the infamous cat memes. They have a tendency to include a very flattering picture of a horse, as they should. Furthermore, Rainbow Dash from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is a common figure in horse memes, often paired with hit songs such as “Like a Boss” by The Lonely Island and “You’re Gonna go Far, Kid” by The Offspring.
To get into specific statistics, the latter of which has a ten-hour spectacular by YouTube user DoktorCutieMark, which has an estimated 4,095,916 views to this date. That video has a significant amount of views compared to musical classics such as the long lost band Far East Movement’s “Like a G6″ audio video, which only has 1,325,244 views. In order to make the numbers 420 and 69 out of the amount of views, it would be much more probable to do this with the video about Rainbow Dash rather than “Like a G6.” It would simply look more pleasing to the eye if the four were written first. (The calculation, for those who are curious: [ 4,096,920 - 4,095,916 = 1,004 more views to reach that golden number. Get working, y’all.]).

The truth of the matter is, there must be a solidarity between the two. Cat memes depict the natural chaos that all humans are prone to harnessing for sporadic periods of time, usually dependent upon certain circumstances such as any current obsession in media, or their own feelings. Horse memes, however, depict something more permanent and perhaps within all of us as human being. That’s right. Horse memes portray the longing to be someone that stands out, someone different, someone genuinely good despite the odds. Destiny is nothing, but I can’t prove that it is. It’s a shot in the dark, similarly to all decisions that are able to make or break a person. Therefore, both cat and horse memes are important to the current state of civilization at this very second. That’s the way I like it, and I’ll never get bored.
Hey now, you're an all-star. Get your game on. Go play.
My favorite thing about nightmares is waking up alone and balls deep in a panic attack every single time I have one, which is all the fucking time, all night and every night. This shit is relentless, and I'll admit that I'm impressed. Now I have to resort to downing coffee way too frequently than necessary so I can stay alert and awake for days because sleep is god damn torture, but it's good because now the coffee machine can feel useful and fulfilled. It weeps caffeinated tears of joy every single time it sees me stumble into the kitchen. Finally. Euphoria.
Moral of the story: this shit blows.
Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron is the greatest horse movie in all of equine cinema. From the powerful soundtrack to the stunning visuals, all tied in with a message that craftfully incorporates horses, the entire move deserves every single possible award for merely existing. I will not take any critcism nor questions. If you disagree, I advise you to watch the movie again and eat my katana.
