🎓Daffodil International University (DIU) holds its #9th_Convocation with colorful events today on January 09, 2022 at Daffodil Smart City, Ashulia, Savar, Dhaka. 🔹Delegated by His Excellency Md. Abdul Hamid, Honorable President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and Chancellor of DIU, Dr. Dipu Moni M.P, Education Minister presided over the convocation ceremony and conferred the degrees. 🔹Professor Kazi Shaidullah, Chairman, University Grants Commission of Bangladesh delivered a video message as the special guests in the convocation. Nobel Peace Laureate Kailas Sattarthy of India was attend the convocation through online as the Convocation Speaker. The convocation ceremony was also addressed by Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Board of Trustees and Professor Dr. M Lutfar Rahman, Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. S M Mahabub Alam Majumder, Pro Vice Chancellor of the university. 🔹In the 9th Convocation a total number 12168 students of which 10343 are Graduates and 1825 Post Graduates was conferred upon graduation and post-graduation degrees and among them 12 best result oriented graduates was awarded ‘Gold Medal’ in different categories. To make the convocation more remarkable and dignified, Daffodil International University introduces 1 Gold Medal for the celebration of Golden Jubilee of Bangladesh and 1 Gold Medal in the name of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Gold Medal in this convocation besides other regular Medals of Chancellor’s Gold Medal, Vice Chancellor’s Gold Medal and Chairman’s Gold medal. #DIU9thConvocation2022 https://www.instagram.com/p/CYgmna9Pzcl/?utm_medium=tumblr
