Diva Collections(Dive DC) Acrylic System Review
So resurrecting this blog with a review I cannot believe I haven’t done yet. I absolutely love Diva DC and I’m very excited to review it!
First of all, I haven’t used Diva DC in a while due to personal reasons, so there MAY be some vagueness in this review but I’ll try my best to use my memory.
I’ll give this system a 7.8/10, because while it is the best acrylic system I’ve used, I’m leaving room in case I try one that’s better because I will be trying a new system very soon. But I have to say, this is a magnificent system.
So first off, as I always say I am pretty immune to strong “toxic” fumes, but I think I will say it is pretty mild in smell. I haven’t received complaints about the odor from other people who I used it around so, that’s my point of reference.
The consistency of the acrylic is PERFECT. Now they have three different lines of acrylic, competition(fast set polymer), professional(normal set), and nostalgic(slow set). I used professional, and I’ve only been doing nails for around a year so I consider myself a beginner still, and I was even more of a novice when I used it and I found the set time to be perfect for me so, food for thought there for beginners. If you are JUST starting out though, like never use acrylic before, I’d recommend nostalgic clear. Anyways the acrylic stays in place without running all over the nail when the proper liquid to powder ratio is used, and it is very easy to work with. It’s very smooth, easily maneuvered by the brush, and gives me just enough time to do what I want to, without making me wait for what feels like forever for it to be filing ready.
Now the value, Diva DC on it’s OWN is incredibly cheap for the quality, but combined with shipping(which from what I can tell, is a fucking nightmare for overseas buyers) it can cost you a bit of money depending on your location. If you happen to live in the area of the physical story which I BELIEVE is located in California, but positive on that one, you can just buy directly from them hassle free.
So all in all, I love this brand and would highly recommend you purchase it, beginner or not. It’s really great. If I could buy some at the moment I would be swimming in Diva DC products, potentially lol.
