The Dive demo being so active compared to the passivity of the "final" product is so fascinating to me. Where the non-demo song feels seductive and almost hypnotic, the demo is far more smug, almost victorious.

"I win, I win" in the demo becomes "let's fall in love"

"dive in, dive in" becomes "I'm feeling good"

"it's just a sin" becomes "you're looking thin"

The demo doesn't need to seduce, because it knows it's already won.
