If it’s been long enough, I forget how my own lots look - always kind of fun to surprise myself. Kraken’s Deep in Roaring Heights, level 8 scuba diving skill needed. I haven’t played that world in a couple of months.

A first glimpse of Kraken’s Deep
Rebecca isn’t yet skilled enough to dive at Kraken’s Deep, but by means of underwater cave travelling, she manages to get there anyway. Sadly enough she decided to break the dive before I could take more pics. My fault, since I made her skip school to go scubadiving instead (my defence is that she had wished to skip school...). That cave seems to be lacking at least one boulder. Hm, this lot clearly needs a little more work.
I’m on a roll... oh yeah!
I love building dive lots and there’s is almost always at least one in every world I’m playing. But right now I’m adding those lots as if there were no tomorrow. This one is the most recent in Sunset Valley, a world that I haven’t played much. Just when I first bought the game, as soon as there were other worlds available I never looked back. Until now. I’m playing a prequel Pauline, who I kind of decided grew up here, in sunny Sunset Valley, the world of eternal summer where it never rains.
Kraken’s Deep
The very next morning, which is a Saturday, nothing stops Rebecca from travelling by underwater cave from Mermaid’s Maze to Kraken’s Deep. While diving there, she reaches level 8 in diving skill, so next time she doesn’t have to take any sneaky shortcuts but can go directly to this divelot if she choses. Now she has to work on her martial arts skill, so that she doesn’t have to fear the sharks, but can fight them just like Pippi Longstocking. The one peeing herself because she frightened by a shark, is Virginia Supine.
And I spot kelp growing in midwater. Clearly this lot still needs som editing. The reefpart could probably do with some rearranging too. My decorating skills aren’t that advanced, so to speak. @amphoraesims: I really hope that you try building a divelot or two. I’d love to see the result!
Rocky Reef
Back where my obsession with dive lots started, in Isla Paradiso where I play Karlie Goldberg, Hinni Hashini and Rei Matsuri. Rocky Reef is still The most beautiful dive lot I have ever seen, in any world. It’s more beautiful than any of the other diving areas in Isla Paradiso - and it is also the very first your sim can dive at. I still find it almost as breathtaking as when I saw it for the first time.
Scuba spamming...
The Z in maze - and a shark
Hop hop, back to Roaring Heights and the improved (?) Mermaid’s Maze, that’s actually a bit more like a maze now. I’m not sure it looks any better though, but this will have to do, now it’s finished. The first ever shark to spawn on this lot (that I’ve seen anyway), lazily swims around the lot and that’s about what happens on this dive. It’s getting dark, Rebecca went diving after school, and she’s just munched a blackberry to stave her hunger. Time to go home to her mother’s spaghetti with veggie sauce.
Riverblossom Valley Dive Spot
One early morning on a day off, Ingmar swims out to the dive spot to snorkel his way to level 4, which will let him scubadive. Finally I can see how the lot turned out. The morning started out fine, but then it started raining - and Ingmar got the moodlet “soaked”. Well - duh! Finally though I got to see how the lot turned out, and I am satisfied. A bit gloomy because of the weather. Too bad you can see the seams in the background, behind the little seahorse on the last picture. Doesn’t look that realistic, so to speak. But cool with the seahorse! It actually was a while since I got to see one of those in game. Maybe they don’t spawn that often?
The mermaid turned up already on the first dive. An elderly lady. She got a genetics transfer from Tola Seagrass, but got to keep the “hair”. She looks a little creepy, and I realized I like that.
