If it’s been long enough, I forget how my own lots look - always kind of fun to surprise myself. Kraken’s Deep in Roaring Heights, level 8 scuba diving skill needed. I haven’t played that world in a couple of months.

Now, sorry I didn't get as many images on this, nor for the last cutscene with the monk but I was just kind of taking it all in. But this level, like all the others so far, took forever. Not the best at this game but this level, I didn't realise we were getting flamethrower dudes this early? I thought they were in the wreck of the Maria Doria levels and such? Not at this point! Though I learnt the hard way that they pop up here by dying to them god knows how many times. This level got me running around in circles though when I couldn't think of where to put the red key card, that was a huge pain. The alarms also gave me a bit of a headache as well but I didn't enjoy this level, it's not one I remember too well bar from the ending cutscene with the monk.
I've failed my all secrets attempt for this level, another one I'll have to go back for but it's not something I'm too worried about. Perhaps on my second playthrough I'll properly get all the secrets in every level but for now, it's just beating the game and trying to make it to the end!
The cutscene for the next levels played pretty quickly though and as soon as they played, I realised its the level I was scared of the most as a child. The "underwater" levels as I'd call them because I could never get the names of them. Absolutely despised them and the sharks terrified me. Hopefully I can get through it but right now, I'm honestly scared for what 40 Fathoms holds for me. This is definitely a level which could take me forever. Wish me luck! 🍀
