It's called DiVEEnation! You special bitches will be creating wonderful pieces of art about babydoll and me (and I guess Vox)! You can even write sexy things about us too. We are looking for some mods to help with a Vees-centric art and fic digital-only zine!
Co-Mod: The backbone! In all seriousness, you will just be helping me out in managing the other mods and overseeing the whole project. Keeping me honest by being my second pair of eyes.
Writing Mod: To start with, you will sort through writing applications. Then you will be watching over the fic participants and supporting them as need be. Beta reading is a must and ability to look over SPAG is excellent--but we will have a Copyeditor to clean up after, so you will have support! (Even if you have never been a writing mod before, you will need to show some thorough writing experience.)
Art Mod: To start with, you will sort through art applications. Then you will be watching over the art participants and supporting them as need be. Top mod here is less familiar with the art process, so please know how to act as quality control with artists! I am hoping for at least two Art Mods, because of my own lack of experience. (Even if you have never been a art mod before, you will need to show some thorough art experience.)
Socmed Mod: You will be in charge of our Bluesky and Tumblr! Posting either weekly or bi-weekly, as will be discussed, to keep interest in the project high. Posts about the mods and participants to draw those interested in to look over all our contributors while we are creating, then giving some sneak peaks as pieces are completed!
Layout Design Mod: Zine formatting is important! For a project inspired by Crowley's Book of Thoth Tarot, large cards are usually 3.75" x 5.5" (9.5 cm x 14 cm), so our zine will have similar dimensions--just obviously larger. Only being digital, I'm hoping you will have experience with file types and formatting art and writing. We will be discussing the best fonts to use, which will be dyslexic-friendly.
Discord Mod: You will be on the same level as the Co-Mod and myself when it comes to control in the Discord server, but your job will be more in the daily details. Making sure all the other contributors and mods are following the rules, being kind even if in debate, and things like that. If an Art/Writing Mod needs some assistance with channels, you should know how to do that. If participants have problems with each other, they will be pinging you first. Being able to check in a lot is needed (but definitely sleep and life your life)!
Copyeditor: You will assist the Fic Mod with all the fics, but also help me out with reviewing the zine as it is put together to make sure every comma and period is in the right spot and that the formatting looks good!
RULES
No LLM creations will be allowed in this zine.
You must be over 18.
This zine will allow both SFW and NSFW creations. This includes both violence and sex. All mods have to be comfortable with this to properly manage the project.
This zine is focused on the Vees and Staticmoth. However, we will also allow past Radiosilence and past/current levels of Valangel. While other romantic/sexual ships will not be in focus for this zine, any hate on people shipping something someone doesn't like will not be tolerated. We can be civil and say "that's not my cup of tea".
On that note, anyone who is against proshippers, who thinks the "pro" stands for "problematic" instead of just including them, or is found to act as an anti in any way will not be chosen. If somehow making it through the process and found to be so judgemental later, they will be dropped immediately from the mod team.
Not being picked as a mod is not a judgement on your capabilities or what you have shared.
