aww ty for asking <3 it is doing fine!! i upgrades from bulky bandages to quite a lot of bandaids and then finally to a single bandaid as it gradually bled less and less when those were changed (and now it bleeds none at all). i will be in single bandaid stage for a long time probably

i say bc like…ok now that i can see the cut it is both weirdly deep and shallow - the knife came at it at such an angle that it’s like - if you ran your finger along the side of your own thumb, where it would press against your hand if you were doing the stop hand emoji, that’s where i got cut. the knife came from the nail side and went in just below my nail and then maybe ½ or 3/4th of an inch (instead of the entire inch it looked like at first) - and technically the knife was angled towards my bone but not very sharply, it was almost parallel to my thumb - so while it would have taken off a big chunk had it gone all the way thru the chunk would have all been sorta-kinda close to the surface. so not as bad as it first appeared, but still a lot of cut area to heal up LMAO and my cuts always heal slow like molasses rip so i’ll be in one-bandaid land for awhile 

but thankfully it doesn’t hurt unless i poke it and i can still do most things except clean my glasses and type on my phone without trouble. on sunday i even played my aunt’s nes for a bit and you def need thumbs for that
