It wasn't every day that they were paired as sparring partners in the arena. Diamant was about to comment on it being a pleasant surprise, but then he hears that from his brother. He scowls, wondering for the umpteenth time why Alcryst insisted on belittling himself. If Alcryst's self-doubt was a person, he'd challenge it to a fight and beat the crap of it.
"Alcryst, don't talk about yourself like that."

She shouldn’t be so shy about learning to use a sword. That’s what the training grounds were for, after all. This soon after dinner wasn’t a busy time for training, so it was a perfect time for the songstress to practice her swordsmanship.
“I don’t think you take a break.” Did she know Felix that well? No, especially from being in different classes. Dorothea was friends with Ingrid, though, who often talked about her childhood friends. So, in a way, they were friends, right?

For the plot meme: I know you said on my interest tracker that you’d be interested in Felix & Dima on non-AM routes, so how about: Felix goes back to find Dimitri after Gronder Field because he doesn’t believe/refuses to believe Hilda, and Dimitri is wounded but not dead. Felix hauls him back to the monastery with Claude & co. Awkward conversations ensue. :D
