Time Out Book: Divergent Series

I busted out this series Valentine's/Family Day weekend. Since boys apparently don't want to play with me I have to keep myself entertained, and I had no problem with these books!!  I loved Loved LOVED book 1 and 2 and I was finished them by Saturday night. So at this point I'm thinking to myself "Sweet I have 2 more days to finish Allegiant!" (Monday was also a holiday) Anyhoo, that plan didn't play out. I really did not enjoy Allegiant and I didn't actually finish it until about Wednesday. I mean it wasn't terrible, but I was starting to feel that by that point the story lines were just repeating themselves. Four and Tris are happy and cute. Then someone does something stupid, then Tris and Four get in a fight, then one or both of them do something stupid...again, then Tris saves the day and everything is happy again. (Now don't get me wrong, this part of the story isn't the only important part, but it's the part I care about the most.) We all know how I love a good ending right?  This series did not have a good ending! Yes Tris saved the day, and no one is part of an experiment anymore, and everyone is living their own lives, and happy for the most part. But was it really necessary to kill off Tris?! What is wrong with a serious maim? Or some sort of lasting disability? At least she would be alive!  Four is so sad and it just pissed me off!!
