Floral!! How do I love Floral? Let me count the ways! I actually met her through a different community and blog, then realized it after we started talking again why she seemed so familiar. xD But seriously Floral is such a fun person to chat with, she's becoming one of those friends I check in with on the reg.

Her characters are so well curated and crafted, you can tell how much she loves every one of them and somehow manages to give them all pretty equal attention which is a thing I just CANNOT do for the life of me so I admire her a lot for being able to do that. The way she writes prose is just lovely and really lets you in to their inner thoughts which I gravitate toward a lot.

Another friend with an amazing graphics game, seriously I'm gonna go around like a physic vampire and start absorbing some of this talent from you all bc holy crap. Thankfully though she is always willing to help me if I get stuck on trying to do a thing like color match correctly and tolerates my dumb ass haha!

It has been a little over a month since Margaery and her grandmother Lady Olenna had sent a missive across the Narrow Sea to Daenerys in Meereen — asking for an alliance against the Lannisters and offering to bring other major houses into the fold. She accepts, of course, and once the Tyrells send over enough ships to gather all of the forces that Daenerys has amassed... she finally takes her leave of Meereen with a noble in charge that she trusts to keep her laws and changes in place; along with Tyrion and Ser Jorah to make sure they stay enforced.

Now they all meet in Sunspear, where the Princess Arianne has been hosting them all and also sworn her armies to Daenerys. In that time, the four women have gotten to know one another quite well — enjoying one another's company when they aren't deep in discussion on how to proceed with taking the Iron Throne and breaking the wheel. So when Margaery asks that odd question, the silver-blonde looks up suddenly from staring at her reflection in one of the beautiful pools of the Water Gardens that were created for an ancestor who bore her same name.

"Do I hate you? Of course not!" Dany protests, her violet eyes blinking rapidly. Reaching over, the Valyrian woman gently places a hand over the top of one of Margaery's own. "It is quite the opposite, in fact. You have become a... dear friend to me, you and Arianne both have." Her lips press together. "I am sorry if my distance has made you think I hate you, when it is not so. My being so close to achieving what I've long fought for is so close now, closer than it has ever been... what it might cost is just weighing heavy on my mind."

( her father has stopped showing her the same kindness he used to, viserys tries but alicent has a hard time feeling it as genuine. two children at eighteen & she is miserable. gwayne, in this moment, feels like all she has. yet, he's leaving her ... )

fingers absently play with one another out of rising anxiety, but in front of her brother she holds off on the urge to pick at them. already eyes are threatening to brim with hot tears, new ones, ❛ must you go ? you have hardly made a visit of your journey here, brother. ❜ desperation leaks in her tone, will he see it ? ❛ i do not wish for you to leave. i could- ... i could speak with father, extend it only for a day or so. ❜ 'i am the queen, i could do it. couldn't i?' alicent thinks.

Raaaaai!! Another relatively new friend but has become someone I speak with almost daily now, we share a lot of the same opinions on not just asoiaf/hotd but other things as well and a love of gaming that we'll gab about too. They're super funny and always willing to lend an ear if you need one, which my anxiety ridden ass absolutely appreciates from time to time!

Their love for Rhaenyra is as intense as my love for Daenerys (whom they also love but Rhae is ofc baby). I adore how much thought they put into their headcanons and her relationship with Alicent that aren't explored at all in the book or not as much on the show. Rai really is on the same wavelength with Rhaenyra and just embodies her in a way that I've seen few others do.

This is going to seem like a broken record at this point but, yet another person with an amazing graphics game. Also they are taking commissions so you should go check out their blog and get yourself some pretty things I'm just saying. In all seriousness though, they make truly gorgeous edits. <3

𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐒 𝐅𝐎𝐋𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐋𝐀𝐏, 𝐁𝐑𝐎𝐖𝐍 𝐄𝐘𝐄𝐒 𝐃𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐃𝐎𝐖𝐍 𝐀𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐘 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐑𝐒 pick mindlessly at some embroidery on her gown as she sits next to helaena on the floor of her chambers. jaehaera had just been taken from them, the words 'nap' must have been uttered but the dowager queen was rather distracted in her own mind today. it was hard, to look at her remaining grandchild or even at her own daughter considering how ... wild her mind runs with the horrors she was made to endure. & for what ? what does the killing of an innocent child solve ... it would not bring lucerys back though she understands ones want for some kind of justice. ( to inflict such pain on another person, on multiple people, felt unimaginable. it could not be rhaenyra's doing--alicent will not allow herself to believe that a fact. daemon ... daemon is the one who would demand another child's head. ) eyes force themselves to glance upward, lips downturned in a frown frozen on her lips.
