Hui Ying
Artificial intelligence witch, cyber-hag, born and based in Chinatown (Town located west of the Blue Village), head of recruits scientific promises of the IVANKA CORPORATION. She has designed for years a project that she believed could not complete it, DIGITAL DIVINATION BALL, her research has led to an arduous and complex scientific method. Then those studies paid off... Hui Ying had not only discovered a new technology to create digital holograms, she had discovered a magic that could be mixed with technology. Thus generating a new technology called ''Houdini's Intelligence'' (in honor of the most famous illusionist).
The project consists of a translucent spherical hologram produced by a glass box filled with a mixture of several gases at low pressure, and driven by high frequency and high voltage alternating current, generated by a miniature high voltage transformer. A smaller orb in its center serves as an electrode. It emits "ultraviolet light snakes" (actually, ionized gas) that extend from the inner electrode to the walls of the glass case, giving an appearance similar to multiple and constant colored lightning bolts. After a few minutes of constant ignition, ozone usually accumulates in small quantities near the glass case by ionizing the oxygen near the surface of the crystal. It accumulates more quickly if a hand or metal object is placed on the glass and lined with crumpled aluminum foil. When approaching the finger to 1 cm, purple sparks jump due to the potential difference receiving a slight non-fatal electric shock (due to the high frequency). Then these residues join with the components of the hologram, thus creating an alternate visual portal to the past or the future (depending on the amount of ozone).
