We think it’s odd how psychs will diagnose people with schizophrenia & bipolar when they could just disgnose… schizoaffective…. the DSM is v weird

yuuuup. I’ve heard a lot of doctors don’t know of it, which is like ? but like we hardly talked about anything. like we didn’t go into negative symptoms at all, the only delusions he addressed was thought insertion, IIRC and all he asked about my manic episode was ‘did you spend more money than usual’ and ‘did you sleep less’.  

but it is an acute service so I assume that’s probably a part of it.
