He’s honestly a bit intimidated by her, but he hasn’t hidden that nearly as well as he’d like. He admires her determination and drive to stick with what she believes in the face of opposition and do what she needs to do to follow through without compromising her beliefs. He’s seen people throw everything aside in a single-minded drive to reach their goals to the point where they lose themselves, but he doesn’t see that happening to her. She knows what she needs to do, what she is and isn’t willing to do to get there, and where she is willing to compromise.
He’s very glad she’s on his side.
Cassandra's knuckles turned white from clenching the hilt of her sword so tightly as she strode past Daniel's battered and bloodied body. She glanced at the Inquisitor for a moment before averting her eyes, trying to avoid Isyris' concerned stare. "I'm fine," the warrior responded to her query. "Stop asking."
The elf tilted her head slightly, her brows rising “Your body language says otherwise” she spoke, her voice solid and strong. “What do you hope to accomplish by telling yourself that?” inquired Isyris, she pressed the pads of her fingers together. There was much for her to learn but this wasn’t one of them, the lie of ‘I’m fine’ was one the inquisitor tole many times, too many times.

Oh. Isyris didn’t expect anybody to notice, she did well to act normal and yet Cassandra noticed.
Curse the inquisitor a workaholic who is afraid to sleep never knowing if it will be p e a c e f u l or terrifying.
The elf cleared her throat “You may or may not be right” replied Isyris, her hands held behind her back she turned her face away looking out a window “is it truly so obvious?” asked the inquisitor, her voice soft almost guilty, what if the others had noticed? She didn’t want to create any worry, so much has happened and so much is g o i n g to happen, the least thing anybody needs is to worry over the person who is supposed to lead them.
