Linktober Day 22 Prompt is "Divine Weapon." My OC Elya has to collect the 4 pieces of the Spirit Guardian to complete his full Dragon Fey Form in order to get access to the Castle where she would rescue Zelda and Link in order to get their help. The Spirit Dragon Fey has to merge itself with a host, Elya, in order to create this immense energy beam that shoots into the sky, defeats Cetus and realigns all that Gannondorf threw out of whack. Eventually Zelda and Link will fight Ganon himself and defeat him hopefully. But after Elya uses her Divine weapon, she exerts all of her energy and essentially dies in the physical sense ( which when her body materializes it births the smaller fairies we find throughout the land) ..... The fact that the Spirit combined with her makes it so her new form stays in Hyrule even after time fixes itself and her clan returns to their own time period. She must remain where she is at, and retains a ghostly form and the area around her begins to overflow with the healing energies that she carried with her in her life. She essentially becomes a great fairy, given her form and abilities to still heal people. The waters that flow from her fountain out into Hyrule supply magical properties that help the beautiful flowers grow in Hyrule. I worked really hard on these details before I was able to design my spirit guide and be able to tie in her abilities to some key elements in the game. I also wanted there to be a way she could stay in the "present" even when her clan goes back.
