💫Divinity Breach AU HCs💫

Like I promised, here's my random assortment of HCs for the "God AU"/Divinity Breach AU!

⭐Sun and Moon are twins in this AU, with separate bodies. Sun (called "Sol") is the god of: the day, the sun, light, hope, joy, and chaos. Moon ("Lune") is the god of: the night, the moon, the dark, dreams, peace, and order.

⭐Out of the whole "pantheon," they're the ones who get the least amount of offerings and visits from their "followers." And even on the off-chance that they do get the occasional visitor, they never last very long. It's almost like people are scared of them, or something!

⭐The outside of their temple is very grandiose. Big paintings, huge statues, and even glass murals. But the inner temple is incredibly run-down, dirty, and sparse. No one's ever gone that far in, though, so no one actually knows just how bad the gods' living conditions really are.

⭐As much as he wants to (or at least, says that he does), Sol has never left the temple. Ever. What if someone stopped by? H-He'd have to be there to greet their visitor! It'd be rude to stop by for a blessing, only to have no one there to answer you back!!!

⭐Contrarywise, Lune leaves the temple every night. It's his job to look after the safety of the nearby towns. Though lately things have been getting more dangerous, and the villagers have started to shift the blame towards the more "antisocial" god.

okay so @glambots has been talking about a god AU for Security Breach called ‘Divinity Breach’ and I love this concept so much I wanted to add my own two cents! Anyone interested can use these ideas I just love character creation :]

Divinity Breach - Main Gods and those cast away

A land curated and watched over by peculiar gods with powerful energies - though few in number, they cover many aspects of humanity and are worshipped both for their many gifts and the unbidden kindness they bestow upon their followers.

Current Gods

Freddy: Named Ursaevi (bear+strength), often depicted as a bear or bear humanoid. One of the oldest Gods of the land, once revered as a patron of the wild - though the current iteration now holds aspects less untamed. The priests of Ursaevi’s temples are a family with a bear crest, one of the most successful and influential in the land. This God rules over the wilds, wisdom, music, and loyalty. Some recent writings also associate Ursaevi with fatherly love.

Chica: Named Pullulcias (chicken+sweet), an Old Goddess along the same age as Ursaevi. Known for her unwavering generosity towards her followers. Depicted as a plump, sweet fowl or chicken humanoid, each gift or offering is returned tenfold. Farmers pray to her for bountiful harvests and good weather. This Goddess rules over love, fertility, prosperity, and feasts.

Roxy: Named Lupigna (wolf+worthy), a relatively new Goddess who has taken over some aspects of an older castaway God. Stories of interactions between her and her followers typically depict a sure goddess or a fretting one - thus she has two forms; an unsteady pup and a large, fierce wolf. This image is used as a virtue of learning to be confident and certain of yourself. This Goddess rules over courage, youth, heroism, adventure, and safe travels.

Monty: Named Auctilus (prestige+crocodile), a volatile God depicted as a huge, snappish alligator or alligator humanoid. Stories tell of a very prideful God who is quick to be offended and quicker to lash out - recent writings belay him as the instigator of many conflicts - though his followers adamantly proclaim his protectiveness and altruism. Responsible for Lepagax’s downfall. This God rules over the earth, war, strength, and revenge.

Older (cast away) Gods

Foxy: Named Vulsutus (fox + wiles), a God who has since dispersed into the sea. Depicted as a wily fox or fox humanoid, he was commonly used as a patron of pirates and thieves despite his other followers displeasure at this association. This God used to rule over the sea, adventure, pirates, safe travels, and cunning.

Bonnie: Named Lepagax (rabbit+shrewd), a God overturned by Auctilus in a fight that caused the very earth to crack open. Legagax was thrust into this crack and buried far below the earth, sent into a deep sleep. Often depicted as a keen hare or rabbit humanoid, his followers prayed to him for mastery of their talents and keen intuition. This God used to rule over insight, friendship, musical instruments, and strength.

Could I perhaps request some soft sun and moon Divinity AU. I just think they're neat 👉👈 (I also love that au concept)

☀️Divinity Breach!Sunnydrop (Sol) + Soft HCs:☀️

⭐Whenever you guys are around sunflowers they all automatically turn towards Sol. Actually, all of nature seems to brighten up when he's around. Even the animals seem happier. Humanity might not like him much, but Mother Gaia adores him. (And so do you.)

⭐On that note, animals come up to him all the time. The amount of times you guys have been approached by wild deer, raccoons, birds, butterflies, and everything else under the Sol sun is ridiculous. But in a good way. The man is like a Disney Princess.

⭐He can make flowers bloom just by touching them! You have no idea how it works, but seeing the flowers pop up by his feet as he walks around is super magical. Every flower crown he makes you is more ten times more beautiful than anything a human could make.

🌙Divinity Breach!Moondrop (Lune) + Soft HCs:🌙

⭐Lune might not be able to actually pull the stars out of the sky (though that would be sick if he could), but he can "conjure" stars with his power. And maybe possibly make you a little crown with them. Because you deserve it. (You are his Starlight, after all.)

⭐Fireflies are naturally attracted to him. You know that scene in "Night in the Woods" where Mae and Bea are hanging out and Mae ends up with fireflies chasing her around? That's what happens to Lune all the time. It's very whimsical.

⭐This is super self-indulgent but y'all have straight up ended up in this scene from the 2003 version of Peter Pan. Lune for real swoops you into the sky (no hook and line needed!) and y'all dance surrounded by fireflies beneath the open moonlight. Peak romance.

No matter the AU. Freddy may be a literal god, and he's still such a big papa bear. Imagine one of his disciples or worshipers or whatever is the right word there, tell him that they're becoming a parent soon meaning that they may become slower at their tasks around his temple for a while, but he like, immediately goes all giddy and bubbly like "Really? That's wonderful! I'm so happy for you! When they finally arrive I'd love to meet them, please!" He may be a literal divine deity, but when it comes to children, he absolutely just melts. Bless his godly bear heart.

I feel like it's frequent that mistreated or abused children take shelter under Freddy (or Ursaevi) and he just takes them under his wing EVERY TIME. The other gods just playfully go at him like "Children are sacred but you can't adopt every single one that comes to your temple haha." And he stands before his temple full of happy kids playing together and stuff like "Just watch me. :)"

Ough, that reminds me that I need to talk about Freddy and Gregory in this AU. (And Vanny/Vanessa, because she's here too. So is Peepaw-Willy's crusty eldritch ass.)

Man imagine some kid or teenager or just generally some very young poor soul who got chased away from their home, and with nowhere to go they turn to the gods, giving them an offering and probably offering service at their respective temple in exchange for shelter and protection because they are just alone and scared in the world. Their offering is probably something very simple like milk and cookies because that's what they had and that's what they knew to bake, they know it's nothing fancy like those fine wines or intricate crafted gifts they get. The gods would probably happily welcome them in regardless of the offerings but when the young soul before them is acknowledging the bare simplicity of their offering, the god already has a cookie in their mouth like "WHAT TF YOU TALKING ABOUT, THIS IS THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER TASTED???" Sometimes the sweetest little things are in the simpler but heartfelt-made things.

The irony is, of course, that the Gods would be Delighted to have children in their temple. The pitter-patter of feet, high voices raised in laughter, play, toys, art.

The villagers brought them an offering of wine the other day. WINE! Left, left of course, at the entrance of their temple, never venturing far. What need have THEY of WINE?! They could almost dash the bottle against the wall, over those precious gilded paintings. And for what? It is a high and lofty cage they reside in.

You would not offend them by bringing wine. No, you bring yourself. Soft. Plush. Not hard gold, not bitter wine. No, sweet. Like candy. So sweet.

Maybe, maybe, an exchange. They give you bitter wine, and you share some of your sweetness. More pleasant on their tongue by far, they think.

Oh, I am All Here for the Getting Freaky. Also this is really funny bc I don't even drink so I imagine Reader just takes a sip of the wine like, "Hm. Don't like this!" and they both just: "FINALLY, SOMEONE WITH TASTE."
