Wayfinder god Nami AU
Avatar God AU (Nomad)
Aang >:)
Info! Had a LOT of fun combining Air Nomad outfit elements with a more typical "travel" outfit. Super warm colour palettes of course! Aang is the god of balance, travelers, and hospitality. He's a bit of a free spirit and a lot of the more serious gods find him a bit annoying (Sokka.) People often pray to Aang when they have to go on long journeys, or invoke his name when they need to stop to rest. It's a well-known fact that the god of travelers has a habit of wandering around incognito-- he just does it because he likes interacting with people without being recognized. In doing so, however, he accidentally started to enforce his hospitality domain, as mortals became terrified of accidentally offending him if he were to show up at their door. He loves to follow Sokka around on hunts (he gets to explore dangerous areas)-- Sokka hates when Aang follows him because he almost always ends up losing his catch. Katara and Aang's Justice and Balance domains mean that they often are called upon together by mortals. Katara, to enact a fitting punishment upon perpetrators. And Aang, to provide reparations to victims. It's found to be very fitting that they ended up becoming a couple.

SVSS AU where Shen Yuan is a fallen god, think Xie Lian style but it can even be HC flavored where he jumps from heaven. Anyways either way he is yeeted outta there and is forced to wander, and eventually finds a very devoted boy who prays to various fallen gods in hopes that…something will help him.
He prays to martial gods and literature gods and even simpler gods but he has no money for incense and so his prayers are not given a lot of weight. They aren’t answered.
This culminates when he’s beaten so bad he can’t see out of both eyes, because the blood has swelled then shut, and Shen Yuan gets so mad at the gods for failing this little boy that he slides Binghe a little hint “pray to this god, he may be fallen, but he is very proud and feeding his ego would make him listen to you” basically just a bunch of nonsense in the form of fake legends about himself.
And Binghe does, miraculously, each prayer is answered. Just a year later, he’s happy and warm and safe in his Yuan-gege’s manor and the food is tasty and the cuddles are amazing and…okay Shen Yuan might have pavloved Luo Binghe. But it’s too late to backtrack now, so, Binghe is just a paladin for this god now. He’s constantly praying, and he literally becomes DESPERATE to talk about his amazing god who takes care of everything <3 and honestly Shen yuan wants to die of embarrassment every time because he doesn’t like hearing himself be complimented!!!
But then Binghe is like twenty five and still wondering why his Yuan-gege won’t confess his godhood yet. Is he not devout enough??? Should he pray more??? Compliment him more??? But nothing is workingggg!!!
And also!! How hard is it to seduce one man?!?!??!
The sacrifice part 1
You woke hours later under warm, heavy fur blankets. You can hear bickering in the living room, the voices straining to be hushed. You were hesitant to pull yourself out of this warm sanctuary. If someone came to check on you, you could simply pretend to be asleep. The plan seems fool-proof until you see something shifting in the corner of the room.
"Ah, you're awake now." You sit up immediately, pulling the blankets up with you. "Don't worry. Please, don't worry. Your stress will make you sick." The man slowly pulls himself from the shadows, almost as large as König. He was almost like a mass of shadows, something you had to focus your full attention on to see.
"Who are you?" You whisper as he materializes a little more before sitting on the bed. He looks the most human out of the rest when he lets the shadows gall away.
"I'm Krueger. I helped make the town centuries ago, and in exchange, the others and I require companionship." He reaches out a hand, what almost looks like a hand to gently stroke your face.
You shudder at his touch, pulling back a little when something slithers down your neck. He sighs softly as he moves his hand away and stands off your bed. Turning to the fire he has been maintaining in your room, he throws in a fresh log before he guides out of the room. You stay seated for a few moments before you slowly leave the warm safety of the bed.
You press your ear to the door, straining to hear the hushed whispers that go even quieter when Krueger leaves your room. When you try to turn the knob, it doesn't budge, leaving you locked in your bed chambers until someone decides to let you out.
Horangi comes to your door a few moments later, the heavy lock turning over before he pushes the door open. He smiles quietly at you as he slips into the bedroom, making himself smaller by sitting on the floor. "I'm sorry I startled you so badly, princess."
"I'm not a princess." You huff angrily, crossing your arms tight.
"One could think so, with that beautiful dress." He purrs softly as he reaches out to stroke the fabric of your skirt. You immediately jump back a little, gathering the fabric in your hands and pulling it away from him.
"You'll tear it!" You scolds, eyeing his sharp clawed hands. Horangi smiles a little with his pointy teeth, being very gentle when he strokes the fabric of your skirt. "What do you want?" You huff as you look from his hand to his face. You wanted to ask him what the argument was about, but you knew he wouldn't answer you.
"I just wanted to apologize." Horangi insists softly as he inches himself closer to you. "Can you forgive me, princess? I didn't mean to startle you, I swear." His voice was soft and sincere as he slowly wraps his arms around your legs. He rests his chin on your belly, eyes shining apologetically.
"I suppose I can. Only if you tell me why you were arguing with the others." You whisper, leaning into his face as if he would tell you the grand secret. He chuckles quietly, squeezing your thighs once before letting you go.
"Then I suppose I won't be forgiven just yet, princess."
deity on a smoke break
With a weary sigh, the clouds leave the Sun's lungs like tobacco smoke as he allows himself to close his eyes for the first time in his entire night of searching. Yes, it was obvious that the new human in their little paradise wouldn't be too happy about their new home. But shouldn't people accept their fate quickly? The human had been here for almost a month now, and yet they still preferred to play hide-and-seek every day, hiding from the two deities in the tiny crevices of the old palace.
They could have joined their merry games and known no sorrow, if only the Sun had known where this little creature had hidden this time...
