If we ever get another Devil May Cry game, I want the divinity statue to get more lore.
As far as I’m aware this is a statue of a goddess that isn’t really based on any of the goddesses from the pantheons we know of.
So it begs the question, is she actually a god? Just an idol powered by worship and demon blood? Or is she a demon under the guise of a god who wanted the demon blood for one reason or another?
I’d love to see so much as a devout worshipper in a mainline game. Anything to learn more about the being depicted by the statue.
And if we get a Sparda spinoff, maybe he would have met her? Or has some light to shed on the subject?
