@diversenet‘s event 05 : neurodivergency — XAVIER YEH FROM LOVEBOAT, TAIPEI.
↳ there’s something vulnerable, almost little-boy lonely about him, left in the dust of his dad’s fancy car. he jams his hands into his pockets and heads into the crowd, dodging a family sucking from fresh coconuts through straws. the crowd closes over him like stage curtains.
DiverseNet presents its fifth event—for the month of October, we will be focused on neurodivergency!
October is ADHD awareness month, but neurodivergency in general lacks representation, so this month’s event is purposefully broad to highlight all neurodivergent characters.
The requirements for an event creation for this month are as follows:
1) Your creation can be any form of media, including but not limited to: writing, art, moodboards, playlists, gifs, and edits.
2) If you choose to make a fandom creation, it must highlight canon representation, not your personal headcanons. While we respect and appreciate headcanons, the goal of this event is to showcase actual neurodivergent characters.
4) Your creation should be tagged with your faction (i.e. “#water faction”), “#diversenet,” and “divnet event five.”
5) All creations are due by October 31st in order to count for faction points!
Happy creating! We’re looking forward to seeing what you all come up with.
