This design for Max’s dad is merely a placeholder for now, but I imagine he isn’t totally out of the picture or anything.

They both had Max during college, and his dad’s education was solely funded by his family, and they’re rather strict on the “no sex before marriage” rule, so when Divya found out she was pregnant they agreed to keep him distant until he graduated n shit.

Divya has primary custody over Max, and gets him like 80% of the time. His dad’s family is *not* pleased about their situation and threatened to cut him off completely if he chose to stick with his “broad and bastard”, and Divya genuinely cares abt him!! So she agreed to just keep their interactions private while he financially supports his son and baby mama
