This Diwali feels different.
This Diwali feels different. Everyone in my house is sick, and most of my energy has gone toward caring — warm soup, quiet check-ins, soft words instead of celebrations.
But maybe that’s the point this year. Maybe light isn’t always found in glitter or ritual, but in the quiet work of tending to what’s fragile.
I keep reminding myself: care is its own kind of prayer. And even in this slower, quieter version of the holiday, the devotion feels deeper.
So tonight, no grand feast, no noise — just lamps, medicine, and love that keeps showing up anyway.
Sometimes the most sacred thing you can do is simply stay gentle, even when you’re tired.
Steeped in reflection; stirred with wonder.
