For the letter meme thingy, please and thank you: S, W, and Z.
S - Show us an example of your personal headcanon (prompts optional but encouraged)
Man, this is so broad. I’m not even sure what fandom to go for. MCU, I suppose, since that’s where I know you from!
Jane is the one to break up with Thor because she’s fed up of waiting around for him. She gets it, though, and understands that he’s got responsibilities - but time apart gives her the chance to really think about where their relationship might go. They remain good friends and it’s an amicable break-up all round. That lingering friendship is how Darcy ends up being drafted to help the remaining Asgardians settle into their new home on Earth - she ends up technically employed by the UN as head Asgardian Liaison, because Thor insists on it.
And that is how she finally meets Loki. She tases him too.
W - A trope which you are virtually certain to hate in any fandom.
Given that I tend to veer towards speculative fiction, I’m not a fan of “all human” variations - high school, coffee shops and the like. I like variations on canon, so AUs that tweak events in the canon universe rather than setting characters in our plain old universe. I don’t “hate” it, I’m just not very interested in it.
Z - Just ramble about something fan-related, go go go! (Prompts optional but encouraged.)
I am listening to a new audiobook narrated by Richard Armitage and I honestly have no idea how they got him to do it. There’s not really any literary value to the story, and hey, I like romance, I read erotica, but it’s not a particularly good example of those. I’ve read better fic. And it wasn’t even good fic.
But that doesn’t matter when Richard Armitage is effectively reading smut out loud and I think I might be typing this from beyond the grave.
How do we crowdfund getting him to read actual fic? If he read this book, I figure he’s game to read anything.
