Daewon scanned the bar with a sigh as he downed the last of his (third...fourth?) drink, signalling for another before finishing even what was in his mouth. He was looking for someone to take his mind off of everything and he really didn’t care who it was at this point. However, someone even better than a nobody caught his attention and, emotions running high, Daewon decided to say fuck it and go for it. Setting the cash down on the counter in return for the drink, he raised his glass as a thanks to the bartender before taking another large sip (he was going to need it). Sliding off of his seat, he carefully stumbled closer to the semi familiar face, leaning in close to Seungmin, a seductive smile forming over his lips. “Hello, handsome.” He practically purred, index finger twirling around the rim of his glass. “Mind if I join you?”

Hyuk couldn’t remember the last time he’d actually ventured out of the house. He’d gotten too familiar with his room, with the dark hallways of the old, worn down building. Growing up somewhere as unique as Everette House meant he knew all of the passageways, all of the quietest spots and hidden rooms but he couldn’t stay inside forever. At least, that was what Dae had told him as he pushed the pheonix out of the front door, telling him not to come back for at least two hours. That was how he’d made it to a nearby park, inhaling smoke from a cigarette as he watched people pass by. And then he noticed someone watching back from a bench across from him, his eyebrow raising in surprise. “Uh... can I help ya?”

“Excuse me?” Wonjae cocked his head to the side at Misook’s sudden outburst, straightening his relaxed position on the couch. “Did you forget who you were speaking to?” He questioned, trying to contain his ever growing annoyance. “Because, in case you forgot-” He spoke, not giving the younger a chance to respond as he got to his feet, slowly stepping closer to Misook with every word. “I give you whatever you want, whenever you ask nice enough.” He stated, simplifying their relationship down far more than necessary. Once in front of the drug dealer, Wonjae wrapped a hand around the underside of the mans jaw, fingertips pressing firmly against Misook’s plush cheeks. “So who do you think is really taking advantage of who, hmm?”

“Enough credit for what?” Daewon asked, eyes avoiding the younger males gaze. He and Jeongwoo were barely on speaking terms (more like ‘crying into each others arms over everything they’ve done’ terms), so he really wasn’t sure what his ex was trying to get at. “I’ve done nothing credit worthy with my life so there’s no reason to give myself credit for anything.”

“You’ve said this all before,” Daewon countered, a soft sigh escaping his lips as he felt Jeongwoo’s lips gently press against his collarbone. He didn’t resist the arms that curled around his waist; to his own surprise, he found himself draping his own arms over his exes shoulders as one of his hands threaded through the younger mans hair lightly. Daewon missed having the other in his arms but it hurt all the same. He loved Jeongwoo more than anything but after all they’d gone through...he just wasn’t sure if he could go through it again.

“Jeongwoo...” The older man sighed once more as he felt Jeongwoo’s tears begin to dampen his shirt. Daewon’s arms instinctively tightened around his crying ex, conflicted entirely. “I don’t...I don’t know if I can believe you, Jeongwoo.” He whispered honestly, forehead falling to rest against the younger mans shoulder. “But, I don’t want to lose you again, either.” The last few words were barely audible, unsure if his ex could even hear what he said. A final sigh parted Daewon’s lips as his arms gave Jeongwoo’s shoulders a small squeeze. “I don’t know what to do..”
