A house full of fun, his own way. That’s how Yusuke has been living after renovating his generously sized apartment in Kawasaki City, Japan.
Large lighting fixtures lighten the space. The green ones on the left are vintage made of enamel, and on the right is a factory lamp. It is also his style to use "box items" such as wooden boxes and antique suitcases for storage.
Here, he’s set up a display of “masterpiece” chairs. That gray one is so unique.
Michael’s favorite is Jasper Morrison's Thinking Man's Chair.
Yusuke used parquet flooring to make the table top.
The adhesive that remained when the wall material was peeled off was interesting, so he left it as it was.
Yusuke put hinges on a genuine Abarth Italian car brand box.
He said it was a rough job pulling out the top plate of this old chest to embed a sink & electric stove to make it a kitchen counter.
Kitchen utensils are hung and stored. Peppers and funnel, "Pino.”
The display above the wine cooler is the world of his wife.
Yusuke likes the outdoors. Outdoor equipment is casually placed around the room.
The condo is an electric house. "I also wanted a gas fire, so I'm careful about ventilation, but I also use a camping two-burner as a sub stove," says Yusuke.
He enjoys the green on the large terrace and made the banner with umbrella cloths. He used wooden pallets on the fence.
