My birthday is in a few days and I’m asking for some of the stuff necessary to build a “GameBoy” with raspberry pi. (I’m also asking for a new pair of compression socks but that is neither here nor there.)
I’m going to use it to play games for GameBoy, GameBoy Color, and GameBoy Advance. I really want to build a GBA SP, it’s my favorite gaming console to play on, but it seems really difficult and expensive to make. If Mameboy GBA SP kits were still sold, I would get one of those, but they were discontinued. Very disappointing.
So anyway, does anyone have any recommendations for which GameBoy line console I should try to make? I’d like the pi console to look exactly like whatever Nintendo console it’s mimicking. I have access to a 3d printer and a soldering iron.
