Kicad BRD files --> Gerber Files for OSHPark Service!
So as I reverse engineer one circuit, I really REALLY want to send this led heart one off to be made, even if when I get it back, I'll realize I've done something dumb :p.
OH.WELL. It's time to go and be made.
So that's the *.brd file from KiCad. According to directions posted: http://reprap.org/wiki/KiCad and https://code.google.com/p/opendous/wiki/KiCADTutorialCreatingGerberFiles I need to go to Plot then select:
Once you hit Plot, you end up with those messages. Essentially one file per layer.
Back.gbl + Front.gtl + SilkS_Back.gbo + SilkS_Front.gto + Mask_Back.gbs + Mask_Front.gts + PCB_Edges.gbr
Now it's time to generate the drill file - all I did was uncheck "Mirror Y Axis":
Alright. So now I press OK and choose a file name for it. Next to do some proofing!
