A special weekender bag made for one of my best clients. The leather was selected by the client, a beautiful medium brown chromexcel fro Horween in Chicago. All solid brass hardware with symmetrical teeth RiRi zipper for a buttery smooth double zip. Design was entirely custom, with an engraved family logo covering the interior, and separate leather lockets with engraved initials. Simplicity was key, no interior pockets, and the construction resulted in one extremely large piece composing the main body section. I worked directly with the client through multiple leather and fabric prototypes to refine the pattern and design, focusing on simplicity, form, and comfort. Need a bag zipper but can't splurge on those riris? You can take a 2 way separating zipper from your local fabric store and turn it into a bag style zipper. Just snip off the separating end, pull both zippers off and flip them. You can either buy stops to put in, or use the seam in your bag as a hard stop.
