I grabbed some time today to make my first #diyfacecream using my home grown & dried #calendula (marigold) flowers, & following the legendary @rosemarygladstar ‘s Rosemary’s Famous Face Cream recipe. The calendula and some added #lavender essential oil makes this a very gentle healing face and body cream. Looking forward to adding it to my increasingly home made beauty regime! (Once you start this homemade herbalism lark is very addictive). To make: Make a simple calendula infused oil (I used #grapeseed) and melt with beeswax, coconut oil and cocoa butter. Once mixed and cool, blend with a mix of distilled water, aloe vera and a few drops of essential oil.
