Gotta love plumbing problems. Yesterday, we came home to water in the basement, leaking down from one of the water lines that lead to upstairs bathroom. I called plumber and made an appointment for Monday (no work or school bc of President's Day). Fast forward to this morning, and leak was much worse. Justin and his Dad tackled the problem head on! They took off beadboard in kitchen (to create an access panel), installed shut off valves, and replaced the deteriorating copper pipe with Pex pipe. All for $240. Plumber called to confirm appointment and I was like "I'm so glad you called. I'd like to cancel our appointment because my husband is awesome sauce." #DIYFriebergs #plumbingsucks
