Just threw my new @diyrecordingequipment Colour Palettes with the CTX Cinemag transformers on my mix buss, and I believe the technical term is “oooweeee!” They tightened up the low end and pushed it forward, and added an overall “richness” to the mix! About a month ago I I put a pair of @diyrecordingequipment Colour Palettes on my mix buss with CTX Cinemag transformer Colours and have been mixing through them since. After a month I can say it’s been a game changer. I have the size, presence and weight I’ve been looking for, and don’t have to work as hard in the mix to get there. It adds a lot more nuance to mixing as well, as driving the mix buss means tonal changes like with a full console, but with the extra flexibility of the other two Colour slots . . #hifihiphop #diyre #diyaudio #musicproducer #audioengineer (at The GreenHouse Recording Co.)
