My first tattoo on skin (my own). Of course it had to be a witch's foot. Gonna watch how it heals and see how I did technique-wise.

Yes, I know it's too small to hold up long-term. I only need it to hold up for a couple weeks. I made it this small so it would be easily fixed if I messed it up.

Yes, I used a sterile needle and real tattoo ink.

No, I don't think there's anything wrong with DIY. It's my body and I feel sufficiently educated about the risks and necessary precautions. Not interested in anyone telling me I can't do stuff to my own body.

Explore the options – hectograph paper for hand-drawn designs or thermal paper for digitally created ones. Thermal paper, with its layers, offers efficiency and a smooth transition from screen to skin.

What You Need

Gather your tools – thermal printer, tattoo gloves, computer/tablet, scissors, towel, and tattoo stencil spray.

Printing Process

Prepare Stencil Paper Remove onion skin and yellow paper. Load Printer Open the lid and feed carbon sheet face-down, tracing paper face-up. Connect and Print Connect to your device and hit "print." Peel Off Design Once printed, gently peel off tracing paper and cut the design.

Applying Your Tattoos

Cleanse the Skin  Wash the skin area, ensuring it's clean and smooth. Stencil Prep Spray the area with stencil spray. Apply the Design Press the tracing paper onto the sprayed area, run a clean towel over it, and peel off – your temporary tattoo is ready! We will use the thermal printer in the procedure given below, where he uses a pencil to draw the design.
