My boy! my undertale hyperfixation and recent care bears rewatch made this fella lol. he likes anything raspberry, drinks raspberry syrup/sauce (it exists, it can go on waffles)

idk if "Gruff" is taken by any other sans', or if it's ok if multiple share a name. I've also been calling him Teddy or Grumpy tho

Complains a lot.

They're an author. Writes murder mysteries and other dark themes. Very few of their books have good endings.

Spends a lot time with Barnaby at the library, they bond over books. CJ won't let him add their books to the library.

Insomniac. Will eat melatonin gummies like candy.

Coffee addict. Barnaby is genuinely concerned by the amount of coffee he's seen CJ drink.

Hoodie and sweatpants always. No time time to dress nice when they're too busy writing.

Doesn't realize he has a crush on Eddie and Frank. (not focused on romance/oblivious)

Wants to help Eddie in any way. So they help keep the Post Office somewhat clean, and will get Eddie home if he's blackout drunk.

Unfortunately, they can very pushy ⬆️

"Steals" their own mail.

Drinks coffee with Frank. Refuses to let them near his books.

Despises Howdy.

Julie is convinced he killed someone. CJ refuses to comment.

Has never seen Sally, but knows she's in there.

oh boy here she is! She's so cool you guys,,

Anywho currently she doesn't live in Home, she still lives in Jersey. But she does make guest appearances on occasion! When she visits she spends most of her time at Howdy's Place because duh her boyfriend is there! But she also makes sure to spend time with her other friends as well, such as tagging along with Barnaby and Wally in their shenanigans!

Howdy: They're Dating! They love each other very much!

Barnaby: Val has a great sense of humor and you can't date Howdy w/o being friends with Barnaby.

Wally: Thinks Val is neat and funny. Val is not nearly as attached but enjoys his company.

Julie: She is much too loud. Val's got a wild side but these two clash too much.

Frank: He's not funny. He dislikes her dislike of Julie. Val isn't bothered one way or another.

Eddie: Val thinks he's a dork /pos but has no strong feelings. Eddie thinks she's fun and cool!

Poppy: They don't talk often but Val enjoys when they do. Poppy takes time when making friends.

Sally: They bitch and gossip together! Val enjoys helping Sally plan/build set pieces.

Some extra bits!

She's over six (6) feet tall, the top of her head reaches Howdy's shoulders.

She can use her wings to barely lift herself off the ground, high enough to kiss Howdy but no more hehe

Howdy, Valerie, and Barnaby are a trio. They hang out all the time and yes usually Wally is there to but he doesn't have to be if he wants to be elsewhere lol. They do still include him!

Her favorite food is peach puff pastries

Her favorite color is magenta

She prefers light roast coffee with cream and sugar

Loves fresh fruit of any kind, tho peach is her fav

Potential for Howdy, Valerie, and Barnaby poly! Where they either share Howdy or also date each other idk yet lol.

Howdy had his shop. That's all he really needed, right? He enjoyed living in the small town of Home and hardly dreamed of going back to the city. Howdy was perfectly fine not making it big.

Valerie, on the other hand, lived big. She never left the overflowing city, never once thought about trading her neon lights for stars. Valerie took her business and made it boom.

Howdy read articles of her success. Listened to radio hosts praise her name. Even his family would chip in; of course he remembered Valerie, Auntie. He couldn't forget her if he tried.

Howdy read the papers, listened to the radio, and wondered if Valerie remembered him too.

Howdy wondered how many people remember their first love.
