I Have a Bad Feeling About This- Update
Things are progressing nicely for our friends back in Liverpool, England for their film I Have a Bad Feeling About This.
It has been a year and half since promoted funding for this film. I will say it is well worth it.
In fact the first clip is up for us to see.
Hopefully we will be able to see this film at the Sundance film festival for 2014.
Best of Luck you guys!
Aural Ball at Clockwork Alchemy
Hold those gears for just a second my wicked darlings. For those who didn’t know, Clockwork Alchemy 2013 provided a splendid concert at the Double Tree Hotel on May 26th.
At first, the concert was a bit of a disappointment. The audience just sat there, they looked extremely bored or confused.
Then BAM! Pop Lock Holmes came on stage to give the audience a bit of encouragement to dance around.
Alas, Pop Lock Holmes energy may have on top, however, his rap and rhymes were not. They did not flow very well with the background music. The audience were not as hyped either. They looked like actual zombies when they did the monster dance.
But, there was still hope left. As Unwoman came on stage, a glimmer of hope appeared. When she played her electric chello, along with the dance performances IrinaXara and Pixie day, the audience came to life just a bit to enjoy her entrancing music and hypnotic voice. She announced she is realizing a new album where she covers popular pop songs on the chello. The date is yet to be announced.
Not Waving But Drowning finally did bring some happy tunes from the south to dance as well. Strange, given the fact they came from Brooklyn. Of course, it was appreciated they were the only band to actually go down off stage and dance along with its audience.
Parlor Tricks, an industrial ragtime band, made the Victorian Aged audience go back into the future for quite a bit to the 1940s for a good swing. In fact, some audience members were actually standing up and dancing.
Finally, as the main event! The audience were screaming and cheering on the ground. Steam Powered Giraffe definitely took the night away and did not fail. Not only did they provide great rock melodies inspired by their lives as robots, but great pantomime acts. It was very impressive how they coordinate in tune with each other. “We are the definitely the most metal band you will see.” Shouted Hackworth, the bass player of the band.
Even though, the audience could have been more energetic, it was overall was a fun concert. Each band provided something unique for the show. It definitely proved that Steampunk can be part of various different genres of music it does not need to be pinned down.
Until next year!
Sailor Tragedy: (Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon has been postponed)

Tragic news my Wicked Darlings who are Sailor Moonies (Sailor Moon fan), It has been announced on the Anime News Network that the remake of Sailor Moon will not be released this summer.
In fact, the Fumio Osano, the Sailor Moon manga's Kodansha editor, officially confirmed that it isn’t even going to be released in 2014!
What's more, the team working on this project has been silent about the issue. No further information has been disclosed.
I feel, along with fellow Moonies, we have a right to know some info to why there is such a long delay for an anime. Especially, since the announcement for the remake of Sailor Moon was made last year.
What stages were they on in production?
Did they find the right animators?
Was there licensing issues with Naoko Takeuchi?
Who is responsible for this mess? In the name of the moon, I'll punish you!
Importantly, why should it take so long? This is a very successful series. Not only is this a top selling Manga Series and an anime, there is a live show as well as musicals based off of it.
One would assume that people would be working as hard as they can to make this possible.
I know, art must not be rushed; but, by not keeping the fans updated, the hype will fade away along with the fans interest.
All we can do now is accept it and hope this production gets made. It'll be a real loss to the anime community if it doesn't.
