pain & glory: i saw this in london, on my first day alone. i was caught in the rain, the theater was cold, in every sense of the word. i was wet and full of joy and this movie made me me a lot of different things and that everything was perfect.
i was in paris for 24 hours (lol). i was sitting with a close family friend at some cafe. we ordered wine and sometimes sat in silence, in the way you only can with someone you’ve known for a decade. it sort of still feels like a blur.
(re)watching homecoming with so many friends during so many varying occasions.
i saw a lot of theater/live events this year (enough where i can actually differentiate which shows were good and bad?) and that makes me happy. i highly recommend volunteer ushering!
i’m looking around my bedroom in this moment, admiring all of the (fake) plants i’ve stolen from work over the years. it just made me giggle :)
Today on takes from people who failed civics:
Liberals are fascists because Biden wouldn't take a move that would get him impeached for overreach of power and not save Marcellus Williams's life.
The American president can use the national guard to overrule governors when federal law overrides state law. Using the national guard to override the outcome of state criminal case does not fall under that category.
While I'm sympathetic to dizzymoods's desire to save Marcellus Williams, there was a reason why her plan was not done. And that really sucks, because it would be nice to be the law is always just. And yet, it's not.
However, therefore believing that all pretense of upholding law should be abandoned is a dangerous step to take: a great deal of the police officers in this country already don't care about breaking the law to frame someone that they feel is guilty.

You should I liked a lot of the elements. But they don’t don’t congeal well. I’m gonna give second season a try
I trust your judgment
dizzymoods replied to your post: They show full on penis in American Gods...
And it’s glorious. Best part of the show honestly. It’s a bore.
that's a shame. I was considering giving it a watch

I legit just watched this last night!!!!!
It was really just a really insightful breakdown that you rarely get from non-Miyazaki anime. was really solidifying why he is (along with Oshii) my favorite animation director.
