NIKE: NIKE AIR MAX DAY 2018
３月２６日に世界各地で祝福された『NIKE AIR MAX DAY 2018』のために、NIKE原宿店にてサウンド・アート・インスタレーションが展示され、JKD Collectiveはサウンドデザインを担当。アーティストには、キャッチーで遊び心溢れる楽曲センスが定評のDJ Codomoを起用しました。
「想像にカタチを」というコンセプトのもと、「AIR」に音楽とテクノロジーを掛け合わせたAIR音楽装置を制作。AIR MAX270のソールに触れると、エアーシリンダーを用いた巨大AIRキューブで「音」と「光」と「形」を生成。最大8人が同時に参加し、ひとつの音色を奏でることができます。
NIKE AIR MAX DAY 2018 was celebrated worldwide on March 26th. For this celebration, JKD Collective worked on the sound design for the installation specially designed for NIKE Harajuku. We featured a Japanese artist, DJ Codomo, to showcase his catchy and playful sense in the music production.
The installation was developed with the concept of “actualizing an imagination.” The team combined AIR with sound and technology to build a gigantic music device powered by air cylinders. The sole of AIR MAX 270 controls the device as it plays various sounds, lighting effects and shapes. Eight people can simultaneously play with the device to create original tunes.
