Strict Tempo / Vox Sinistra August Show Dates Announced in Portland
Strict Tempo returns for its first night back from quarantine in traveling mode August 28 in Portland @ The Coffin Club
'Beginning in July 2019 in the dark basement space of Seattle club Mercury at Machinewerks, Vox Sinistra created Strict Tempo to share her dark 80s-inspired vinyl favorites, and quickly expanded the night to include guest DJs and both touring and local live acts. Since expanding to several realms of dark and danceable music, she spins the best in EBM/industrial, industrial techno, dark techno/electro, coldwave/darkwave, New Beat, acid, Italo disco, and more.
In April 2020, she took the night online to Twitch where she has DJ'd and hosted international guests weekly, including such acts as Kris Baha, Statiqbloom, Crystal Geometry, Xeno & Oaklander, Visit0r, Paradox Obscur, IV Horsemen, Parade Ground, MVTANT, Violet Poison, Filmmaker, Visceral Anatomy, Mala Herba, The Marquis, Romance Disaster, Carlos Peron, Celldod, Delectro, and many more'
For this night I'll be joined by resident DJ Susan Subtract (Physical Wash, High-Functioning Flesh) on decks all night EBM / industrial / dark dance
