I was incredibly happy earlier this year when dance pop duo Midi Matilda made a fine return on wildly infectious new song Tidal Wave, easily one of the most catchy synthpop jams this year. In a Bay Area loaded affair, San Francisco’s MyKill has unveiled a new remix of the song. As if it wasn’t already an impossible task to resist dancing to the original, MyKill has me grooving enthusiastically to his radiant wave of strutting nu-disco and balmy indie house. This remix is as pool party or beach festivities ready as they come. Download the track, here, and dance to your heart’s content while we wait for Midi Matilda’s new album.

Seductive San Francisco electronic pop and R&B act 8th Grader recently gave us a single named Morro Bae, and yesterday saw the release of a killer remix EP full of sizzling hot tracks. Canadian producer JNL's intoxicating remix is a steamy synthfunk and chic nu-disco version that takes the track to Prince meets Justice and Daft Punk electro house territory. For another terrific remix off the EP, stream San Francisco producer MyKill's remix of Morro Bae below. He takes the bae on a balmy summer vacation with a much deeper house bounce and an abundance of neon lit funky swag. It's been a short minute since we heard from San Francisco producer MyKill and his collaborator, Walker, of The Holy Coast. They've given us some wonderfully dreamy and foggy dance jams these past few months, and now they're back again with a very laid back tune named Moonlight. Its chill disco vibes are so indulgently chic and delectable. Both upbeat and relaxed, it's the perfect track to laze away or twirl around to on a balmy evening.

Closing out this session with a superbly smooth and euphoric track by San Francisco producer MyKill and The Holy Coast's Keith Walker, titled Without Time. The satiny, lustrous gem and its sexy saxophone seem to create a blissful mirage of timelessness. In fact, I feel like I wouldn't mind if the song never ended... I could drift away in a dreamy daze to Without TIme, endlessly. I think I've found my anthem for daydreaming.
