MP3: ZZ Hill "Think People" (1971)
This Sunday was a pretty quiet, calm day, that's usually how I like them. I took a trip to the music store and made my way out like a bandit with a few used CDs. While doing so, I was listening to "Think People" by ZZ Hill (1935-1984), a great-sounding song that urges its listeners to make a world a better place for people of all various races, occupations & social classes from '71. I found this gem on the mixtape DJ Soft Touch compiled for Aquarium Drunkard, I highly recommend checking it out here if you want to add more rare, hard-to-find funk/soul tunes to your collection.
