One Shot for Dorkjay
It's a bit long, but hopefully you like it
“Hello caller number NINE!” the radio spokesperson said as I began to jump up and down. “What is your name?”
“Cluny! Oh my gosh. This is unbelievable.” The voice began to ramble on about the details of my prize, but I couldn’t help but zone out.

Two Weeks Later
I was in the backyard arranging tables for the barbeque slash pool party that I was hosting that night, when the back door opened and in walked the five lads trailing behind Big Kev. Siva was hand in hand with Nareesha, and Tom was playfully pushing Kelsey out of the way. I contained my excitement, refraining from squealing and fangirling at the top of my lungs. Nobody else had arrived yet, so that meant I had the boys all to myself for at least a couple minutes.
“Ello,” Tom said as he walked towards the table I was fixing. My heart melted at their beautiful accents, but I noticed Nathan was missing. The noticed my expression and said, “Nath couldn’t make it today. He had a doctor’s appointment to check how his vocal chords are doing in LA, but here.” He handed me a CD signed by Nath. “It’s a video message he made just for you.” Jay smiled at me.
I chatted with them as the people began to arrive, and more and more people began to surround them. Soon enough, my uncle was grilling the burgers (veggie burgers for Jay) and people were jumping in the pool.
All of a sudden the boys ganged up on Max and began to take off his clothes as they carried him to the pool. They threw him in, as he squirmed free of their grasp. “You bastards!” Max quickly got out of the pool and pulled Tom in with him, fully clothed. Jay and Siva ran away, locking the pool gate and grabbing their food. Siva took a seat with Nareesha, leaving Jay all alone for a bit. I chose to sat next to Jay as the boys continued making a splash and horsing around in the pool.
“How are ya?” I asked. It was a fairly boring way to start a conversation, but I was nervous in all honesty.
“I’m doing quite well, what about you?” I blushed as he flashed a flirty smile at me. The night went on and the boys continued to swim, while Siva and Nareesha entertained the little kids. Jay and I had gotten on to the playground and began talking about completely random things. Jay finally decided to jump into the pool, dragging me in with him.
The lads began a game of chicken and I headed out of the pool to get a picture. The second I got the camera out, the boys stopped their fight and turned to the camera, smiling as best as they could and making silly faces. After a while, Max and Tom began talking to my uncle as Jay and I swam in the pool.
“You’re a pretty good swimmer Cluny.” Jay teased as I doggy paddled to the shallow end.
“Oh shut it you.” He stopped me and picked me up in his arms. My face was fairly close to his, and my lips ached to meet his. Our lips were so close to touching, when all of a sudden he smirked and threw me into the air and falling back into the water. He laughed his belching laugh as I came back up to the surface. I stormed out of the pool and he followed. “What time are you guys supposed to be leaving?” I asked.
“In a bit, I think?” He looked up and saw that the lads were no longer where they were before. He looked around hoping to spot them, but they were all gone. He ran inside and realized that they had left with my uncle, probably to his favorite pub. “Those bastards! Ugh, those fuckers must think this is funny.” He was angry and upset that they could leave him without a warning.
We heard the front door open and Siva walked in. He was upset and frustrated. “What’s wrong mate?” Jay asked as Siva leaned on the counter, clutching the edges to the point where his knuckles turned white. “It’s Nareesha.” He sighed heavily and once again, walked away. I turned to Jay.
“Don’t worry about it. You had fun here, didn’t you?” I turned to him, smiling. “I can drive you to the pub where they most likely went, but trust me, you don’t want to be around Uncle Albert when he gets drunk.” He smiled and looked towards the pool. “See! There you go, a smile.” He smiled even more as he led me to the living room. We sat on the couch and talked for a while, but soon it got late.
“It’s close to midnight. Maybe I should get going?” He asked, making no effort to get up. I shook my head no, as I cuddled into his arms. He hugged me tighter and kissed my forehead. He had only had a beer for the night.
“Would you like another beer? Some shots? Any sort of drink?” I asked getting up, but instead he pulled my hand , making me fall back to the couch.
“No, I’m fine. I kind of want to remember this night.” None of the boys had come back, but they had called him apologizing and letting him know where they were. Everyone had left the house, and it was just us two left.
It was now three in the morning and we were far from going to sleep. He stood up and led me to the front yard. He looked up at the stars and then at me. He wrapped one hand around my waist, pulling me closer to him, and the other cupped my cheek. His lips touched my awkwardly as I stood on my tiptoes to make the kiss deeper. Soon he was pushing me against the wall, picking up my legs and wrapping them around his waist. His kisses were more aggressive, his erection running against my leg, and his hands wandering under my shirt. He stopped for a second and looked me in the eyes. His eyes were dark with lust as he bit his lip before kissing me once more.
Suddenly there were lights in the driveway. He quickly put me down and saw that it was the lads with Uncle Albert. I blushed hoping that they hadn’t seen anything, but once they stepped out of the van, I knew they were too drunk to remember. Jay and I laughed, partially from embarrassment.
“Where’s Seev?” Big Kev slurred as he approached us.
“I think he went back to the hotel with his missus.” Jay replied. “Are we going back?” Big Kev nodded, urging the boys to head to the van.
“I honestly think you are too drunk to be driving.” I said before they could go anywhere. “You can stay here or have Uncle Albert drive you to your hotel on his way home.” I looked at my uncle, only to realize he was equally as drunk. “Never mind. Everyone walk in.” I ordered, and they all filed in. I settled them on the couch, guest bedroom, and Jay called Siva to let them know where they were.
The sun was beginning to rise and I couldn’t fall asleep, thinking about Jay’s kiss. The door suddenly creaked open and Jay walked in. “I couldn’t sleep.” He looked at me. “I’m guessing you couldn’t either?” I nodded and he came and took the other side of the bed. He got under the covers and pulled me in tight. “Good night,” he said as he kissed my forehead and closed his eyes.
